The Secret Season

September through April has often been called the “secret season” along the Grand Strand. Many of our visitors come to stay for weeks or months at a time… some to escape cold winters, some to simply escape!
 
Our golf courses, fishing piers, charter fishing boats and many other attractions are open year round. The Myrtle Beach Convention Center always hosts exciting events and activities during that time. The live entertainment theaters feature wonderful Christmas shows and other great offerings. And shopping has never been better with the recent completion of a large regional shopping mall to complement several other shopping centers, factory outlet complexes and popular area retail and dining attractions Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing.

Best of all, our rental prices are lower than peak season and the weather is wonderful. Come enjoy our secret season, but sshhh… don’t tell anybody. It’s a secret!

Thousands of "Snow Birds" spend the Winter with us, why not come down yourself. If you can't stay all winter, then visit for a few special weeks. Every one has time to chat, smile, and tell you just how pleased they are that you chose to vacation on the Grand Strand.
